Ex. 101 Write an Opening using an Instrument in the first sentence.

The opening drum roll in pg. Lost’s “Jonathan” was the perfect beginning to this project. A good backdrop to the man’s screaming. And if anything was going to be the last thing he heard, he was lucky it was this. One of my favorite songs.

Surely, by now my bosses would have realized what happened to their prisoner. I didn’t have long to make the bastard pay for his betrayal. A betrayal that cost me a brother, a partner, and now my career. And that was just the losses on my end. A whole two seasons of lies had cost many in my department so much more.

And he was set to be tried and convicted for treason then what? Execution? Life imprisonment? And what would have lost? Nothing he cared for in the first place. The least he could do was miss a few body parts.

Today was the day. For every sabotaged mission…
